Job:Packaging Internship
Reports to: Packaging Manager
KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Participate in job observations.
- Daily capturing of line downtime using APRISO and SHOPWARE
- Monitor and track packaging lines Performance indicators e.g. OEE, Efficiency and Bulk/AC losses.
- Develop and control action plans on improving packaging KPI’s (OEE, Efficiency and Bulk/AC losses).
- Participate in or lead improvement projects using methods from the groups Quality, HSE and EOS systems (5S, PDCA, Problem Solving, SMED, Chrono-analysis, Optima, Opti loss, etc.)
- Ensure methods are observed in improvement projects (5S, PDCA, Problem Solving, SMED, Chrono-analysis, Optima, Opti loss, etc.)
- Analyse the UP down time losses to find corrective actions.
- Strategise on down time data capturing in Shop-ware system.
- Develop standards for all allowed downtime in packaging lines.
- Conduct and drive long term PDCA actions for packaging lines.\
- Assist with SPC DATA Collection
- Investigate material losses (Weighing, Manufacturing, Filling and Packing
- Participate actively in meetings, work groups or multi-disciplinary projects to contribute to improving on SAFETY and QUALITY thrusts.
