PURPOSE OF ROLE
To provide 1st Level Support for Cloud, Desktop, Server, and Networks for Lesedi IT Systems (Not limited)
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (All sites)
- Attend Servicedesk calls and close in SLA timeframe.
- Laptop/Desktop (Specification, Procure, Distribute, Support).
- Lesedi software application installation and basic support (Engineering software).
- Manage and maintain all Meeting rooms, video conferencing (not limited).
- Assist with maintenance of local network cabling.
- Assist with VoIP system support.
- Assist with All printers/Plotters toner maintenance.
- Assist with Cloud support to end-users (i.e. Office 365, Code Two)
- Setup and Maintenance of procedures, guides, and SOPs as required.
- Assist with Wi-Fi AP and controller companywide.
- NOC dashboard monitoring and call logging.
- Initiate and liaise with 3rd party vendors for hardware and software support.
- Assist with Offsite Datacenter support when required.
- Assist the ICT Manager with Site initiation and planning.
- At minimum -Monthly reporting and feedback
- Providing end-user training and induction.
- Assist with cellphone updates and phone setups. Etc
- Ensure ICT Training is kept current to ensure optimized support to business.
- Comply with IT support scheduled timeframe.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 1 year IT Diploma or relevant IT certification.
- CompTIA certified- A+, Network + (Advantage).
- 1 year working experience.
Experience:
- Entry Level Servicedesk/Helpdesk and Application Support.
- Entry Level VoIP, Printer, Network, Server Support.
- Desktop Support (Laptop, Desktop, Printers, Networks, Office Applications).
- Adobe Acrobat.
- Multifunctional Printer support and vendor management.
- VoIP systems.
- Cloud services (Advantage).
- Office 365 Application support (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive).
- Entry level Office Administration (MSTeams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange).
